Description: SUBSCRIBE MY NEW CHANNEL ⤵️ THANKS 😍 🥰 youtube.com/channel/UCe6ciMw5cBpDw99SG9TIHcg how to loot a kite on rooftop when suddenly you see string and stray kite in the sky and everyone run for the kite to catch it. soo funny and happy moments of kite flying. 😅 😂😍 #KiteFlying #Straykite #LootingAKite According to Yousaf Salahudin: India has been trying to copy basant for years but couldn't. The truth is that basant is in the blood of every Lahori. This is one festival where the rich and the poor interact. They do not interact even on Eid. The elite class offers eid prayers at FC College or Aitchison College mosque while the general population goes to other mosques. Basant is the only festival which the rich and poor celebrate together. This is a festival of the poor. I hope we get our centuries old tradition back soon and as always will be bringing you more images and videos from this festival every year . But the centuries old tradition, which has Hinduism roots, injuries, incidents, has been banned since 2005 because authorities said it became too hazardous. #KiteFlying is often known as Gudi-Bazi or Patang-bazi. Although kite flying is a popular ritual for the celebration of spring #festival known as Jashn-e-Baharaan (lit. Spring Festival) or Basant, kites are flown throughout the year. The #Basant Kite #Festival has been a historic spring time kite flying event during the #BasantPanchami festival in the #Punjab region in India and Pakistan. Yellow outfits are worn on Basant (Rakhi Vijan)) It falls on Basant, also called Basant #Panchami. According to the Punjabi calendar it is held on the fifth day of lunar month of Magha (in late January or early February) marking the start of spring. During the #spring #festival, kite flying competitions are held across the country and the skies are colored with kites. As people cut-loose an opponents kite, shouts of 'Bo kata' ring through the air. They reclaim the kites, after they have been cut-loose, by running after them. #Kup, #Patang, #Guda, and #Nakhlaoo are some of the kites used. They vary in balance, weight and speed. ---- These things should be banned totally for peaceful Lahore Basant! Agree?? 1 Bullets and tracer bullets fired during celebratory gunfire. 2 Dangerous types of kite strings, such as metal wire, or strings coated in ground glass or metal filings. 3 Electrocutions caused by flying metal wire kites near power lines. 4 Electrocutions caused by people touching power lines while trying to retrieve kites. 5 Falls from rooftops related to flying or trying to retrieve kites. Another reason cited for the ban was the cost to the electricity power transmission system related to Shortcircuits from metal kite wires touching power lines Costs incurred from switching off the power grid to prevent short circuits.
